The International students of VSTU visited the Non-fiction Cinema Fest

The international 1st-3rd year students of the Flagship University came to the Non-fiction Cinema Fest on the 18th-21st of October. Headed by the great producer and documentary maker, laureate of the State Prize Sergey Miroshnichenko, the Studio of documentary cinema presented the films about the pressing social issues of the modern life. The meeting with the young documentary workers - producers, operators and scenarists - took place in the lecture-hall of the Museum "Russia - My History".

The main character of Maria Evteeva's movie "Survivor.ru" is the real bear. After the life in USA and work in Hollywood movies the bear comes to Russia, meets the compatriots and finds the new "circus" career.

Maxim Arbugayev's touching film shows the short life of the butterflies in Indonesia. Being popular among the collectors, these rare butterflies follow the only way - glass cover or frame so that people would admire them.

Marina-Maria Melnik's movie "Red Queen's Dream" tells about the main character's rare disease - sleep paralysis and her treatment ("tales therapy").

In Yulia Sergina's film "Therapy" 12 teenagers of St. Petersburg have carried out a crime and can escape punishment if they prove their capacity for redemption.

Sergey Miroshnichenko presented his work "Ring of World", experimental art and publicistic dilogy about the XXII Olympic Games in Sochi.
