The pupils of the School №1 from Chengdu (China) visited VSTU

The Vice-Head, the Secretary of party organization and the pupils of the School №1 from Chengdu (China) visited VSTU in order to conduct negotiations about cooperation within the framework of the realization of the University Development Program aimed at the formation of the Flagship University.
The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Kalashnikov, the Dean of the Faculty for Foreign Students' Training Alexey Godenko and the Head of the International Relations Department Grigory Boyko heartily accepted the guests.
According to Sergey Kalashnikov’s words, VSTU is the biggest University of the Region because the unification of VSTU and VSUACE took place in 2016. He remarked that the Faculty for Foreign Students' Training had prepared about 5000 students. Nowadays 1000 students from 50 countries, including 40 persons from China, study here.
Then the pupils from Chengdu made an excursion to the History and Science Museum of VSTU. They found out about the history, achievements and victories of the University in different contests of federal and regional significance. They also visited the Information and Library Center of VSTU and saw the walking anthropomorphous robot AR-600E. The guests enjoyed their visit to our University.
