The "JuniorActive" Project: Volgograd pupils took part in the engineering competitions "Sunny Regatta-2018"

The annual international engineering competitions "Sunny Regatta-2018" of the road map "MARINET" of NTI took place from the 25th to the 27th of May by the side of Volkhov river in Veliky Novgorod.
The students and pupils' teams from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Astrakhan, Azov, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Cheboksary, Samara and other cities of Russia took part in the competitions. The young people presented their acting models of boats functioning on the solar panels that they had constructed themselves. Volgograd team was represented by the pupils Vsevolod Bykov, Anna Zhukova and Ulia Isayeva: they came with the one-place boat on the solar panels "Seagull 34". They had constructed it within the framework of the program "Midshipman" of Volgograd Center of the Children's Technical Creativity.
The event opened with the solemn parade of the boats headed by Russian engineers' unique project - catamaran on the electric motors and solar panels. The representatives of the Administration of Veliky Novgorod and the President of the Organizing Committee of the Engineering Competitions "Sunny Regatta" Eugeniy Kazanov took part in the solemn ceremony.
Anna Zhukova got the prize for the level of training in programs of general education of natural science and physico-mathematical disciplines. Volgograd "Seagull 34" became second in the nomination "Design". We thank Volgograd team !
