 The presentation of the projects selected during the XV All-Russian Contest of the Young Authors' Projects "My country - My Russia"

The presentation of the projects selected during the XV All-Russian Contest of the Young Authors' Projects "My country - My Russia" took place today on the platform of Volgograd Regional Duma. The Rector of VSTU and Academician of RAS Vladimir Lysak took part in the meeting. The Flagship university became the regional operator of the contest this year.

Volgograd District presented more than 50 projects. 8 projects made by the students, PhD students and workers of VSTU were selected for the intramural stage.

The student David Azaryan won in the nomination "My house" with the project "The robot against the overhead ice". The student Anastasia Busovskaya got the special prize for the project of the improvement of the territory in the yard in the same nomination. The assistant of the Chair "Water Supply and Water Discharge" (Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute of VSTU) Darya Ignatkina and the graduate of VSTU Alexander Voytuk got the 2nd degree diploma for the project "Engineering and technical device for cleaning multi-component waste water" in the nomination "My city".

The authors and their research supervisors were marked with the Gratitude of the Head of Volgograd Regional Duma for the victory in the regional stage of the XV All-Russian Contest of the Young Authors' Projects "My country - My Russia", the active citizens' position, creativity, ambition and scientific approach to the solution of the modern tasks.

The contest was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Transport Ministry, Ministry of Building and Housing and Communal Services, Ministry of Health Policy, Federal Agency for Young People's Affairs, Russian Society "Knowledge" and National Foundation for the Specialists' Training.
