VSTU Application for Erasmus+ Grant Has Been Approved

Being a part of the association VSTU has won an application form under the program Erasmus+ №617540-EPP-1-2020-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP «Pilot courses in Practice Enterprise to implement the University-Enterprise Cooperation for the development of Caspian Area» (PICASP).
Apart from Volgograd state technical university the association includes: D'Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara (Italy), (www.unich.it) – which is a grant holder; University of Warsaw (Poland) (www.uw.edu.pl); Vilnius Gediminas state technical university (Lithuania) (www.vgtu.lt); Astrakhan state university (Russia) (www.asu.edu.ru); Yessenov university (Kazakhstan) (https://kguti.kz/); University of international business (Kazakhstan) (https://uib.kz/); Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (Azerbaijan) (www.tourism.edu.az); Khazar university (Azerbaijan) (www.khazar.org).
The project is intended to last 3 years.
One of the main goals of the project is to facilitate modernization and internationalization of higher education in the Caspian region according to the world tendencies and in terms of the principles of the Bologna process. Within the framework of the PICASP project at the university there will be started the elaboration of short-term courses for the specialists of new generation on various training programs.
Uniqueness and innovativeness of the short-term courses is in the possibility to master best practices for the professional activity, commitment to the training of specialists of new generation as well as active implementation of the best European practices.
